Every Wednesday I'll attempt to drop a remix (#RemixWednesday), this week I'm droppin a Florida Club remake of THIS CLASSIC track "JODD" by Trick Daddy, Tampa Tony and Khia.
This week I visit the hit Single "Am I Wrong" by Nico & Vinz, and put a Jersey Club ..or shall I say Florida Club spin on it.
From Wiki: "Am I Wrong" is a song by Norwegian duo Nico & Vinz. It was released as a digital download in Norway on April 12, 2013, credited to the duo's previous name Envy, and became a hit in various Scandinavian countries, including Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Later international releases from January 21, 2014 onwards, coinciding with the duo's name change, were credited to Nico & Vinz."
I've always been a fan of this track since childhood and every time it spins in the club people go crazy!! ...although its almost 20 years old. "Love You Down" by INOJ, as usual I put a Jersey Club ..or shall I say Florida Club spin on it.
From Wiki: Female R&B vocalist INOJ recorded a cover version of "Love You Down" in 1997 with the assistance of producer Charles "The Mixologist" Roane. Featuring a faster beat and more percussion than the original version, INOJ's cover was initially featured on So So Def Recordings' So So Def Bass All-Stars Vol. 2 compilation album. Shortly after the compilation's release in late June 1997, the song began amassing airplay, entering Billboard's Hot 100 Airplay chart on the issue dated August 2, 1997; it would go on to spend 45 weeks on that chart, becoming especially popular on rhythmic radio.
No one in 1999 would have ever guessed that "Down For MY Nxggas" would become a cult classic for NPHC Greeks around the nation, I'm sure Master P himself probably is still out the loop.

"Down for My N's" is a song by Snoop Dogg & C-Murder featuring Magic from his fourth album, No Limit Top Dogg & C-Murder's Trapped in Crime. It is a classic & is still played heavy in nightclubs present day.
Computer Games is an old disco track prominent in skating rinks in the 70's, and is also the unofficial stroll song of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. I wanted to incorporate the directional vocals of Jersey Club music to fit the movements of greeks strolling, so I decided to release this the same weekend of #AGP2015.
The same year, the song was released as the "Computer Game" single, which combined the "Computer Game" and "Firecracker" tracks together. The "Computer Game" single was an even greater international success, selling over 400,000 copies in the United States and entering the top 20 of the UK Single Charts. The single was also released across Europe that same year.
